Ultra Clear Float Glass
Since the iron content in the raw material is only 1/10 or even lower than that of standard float glass, ultra clear glass presents a neutral color to its surface. When looking through edges of the glass, giving it a slight blue color appearance that makes it look elegant.
Low iron content also provides a high- level transparency and clarity. When we see some objects through ultra clear glass, it will give us more realistic and vivid colors than standard clear glass. Low iron glass also has an extraordinary light transmission and this makes it fit for some applications where need more natural light, such as solar panels, glass greenhouse.
Ultra clear glass usually has better quality than standard clear float glass. After a series of complex purification and processing, the raw material of ultra-white glass contains fewer impurities which greatly reduces the chance of self-explosion after tempered processing.
Just like standard clear glass, ultra clear glass has so many applications in glass further processing. It can be tempered, laminated, coated, curved, engraved. When used as a base glass for tempered glass, it provides a better performance than standard clear glass in reducing the occurrence of glass self-explosion.
